Owner and founder, Michael Kavin, began working in the construction industry while he was in college, spending summers at Anawalt Lumber Company in Los Angeles. After establishing Kavin Construction in 1975, he became a licensed contractor in the state of California.
He earned his reputation calling out those in the construction industry who were using deceptive practices and has since determined to make honesty the foundation of his business practices.

In fact, he still works with Anawalt Lumber after all these years and is its biggest client.
